Painting a Tree

I like colors. I think in colors. I had to do a class project inspired by a well known painting. So I picked one with a lot of color. Look at the painting below. Hope you like it. It is an abstract painting inspired by Monet. This tree feels lonely. It is still, wanting to get back home.

    Beautiful Siddhu! When you say “it is wanting to get back home”), I am reminded of a conversation I had just yesterday with a colleague. He told me that trees’ DNA is much more complex than that of us humans: they have to stay in one place and endure all types of weather, for instance.
    A very evocative painting! Maybe you can also say what background (oil etc.) you used.

I am also reading "Life of Pi" and I watched the movie. I liked the role of the boy Pi. He was in the ocean alone with a tiger. The boy taught me that I can solve problems. These days I am obsessed with art. I am learning more drawing from the videos online. Here are some of my recent ones. I experimented with charcoal for these. Running horse Woolly Mammoth Inspired by "Life of Pi" I had to capture my favorite characters Richard Parker and Orange Juice. Here they are.  I love to draw and paint pictures because they make me feel calm and composed.
